It is amazing when the fist year rolls around and it is the 3rd or 4th session with the same child in a year. I know it is obvious but they really change. I love seeing it happen. Mommy changes too 🙂
Summer
Not as in the season but as in the adorable Summer Baldwin. I met Summer at a wedding I shot. She contacted me about some headshots. We did way more then that. With the help of Jennifer Ramirez we had tons of fun changing up Summer’s look. The ones with the sunglasses, red lipstick, scarf, black bathing suit and red shoes are my favorites. Jennifer did a great job styling!!!
Sofia
I just adore Mary. I shot Mary and Vasili’s wedding when Mary was 6 months pregnant. Then they move into a new house and then have Sofia just a few weeks (or days ?) later. Huge life events for all of them. Mary thinks it all is wonderful and it is. She is full of loving energy. You should all have a Mary in your life. She even said giving birth was fabulous..(hardly any pain..). Have you ever heard that before? 
Becky and April
“So who here is because they know the BRIDE?” All hands went waving in the air. Becky and April got hitched on Vashon Island In Seattle in a field in the back area of their friend’s house. This was a 20’s 30’s themed wedding as you can see by the flapper outfits they both wore…keeping with some tradition…one in white and one in black. April is a sommelier and Becky a chef so as you can imagine the food and wine choices were excellent. This was a family event so first some pre-wedding photos of Alex, the oldest nephew. He is 15, watches Jon Stewart, and reads more books in a month then most do in years.
April had her brother walk her down the aisle. Awesome outfits. I don’t know if you can see but in the corner is someone drinking a martini. This is a great wedding when it’s Ok to have fancy drinks during the ceremony.
Becky is walking with her dad and on the way stops to pet her dog waiting patiently for her to walk by.
Once the ceremony started the fun began. Becky and April both addressed the crowd in their humorous and confident ways. Instead of breaking bread, Becky offered up a head of cabbage and April countered her offer some fancy wine. Becky read her vows from an orange post it note and they both practically stampeded the breaking of the glass. 
After the ceremony they had a quick drinky drinky…I just love those glasses..
Their very cool lady friends are in this photo…I love the outfits.
And the party began with Tin Pan Band, some swing dance performances, some swing dance lessons
and then of course the Horah. Becky couldn’t decide if she wanted to be in a dress or a suit for the occasion, so why choose. Just change. Here she is with a tie and hat and suspenders. Cool huh?
This was a fun wedding!!!!
Kathryn and Jonathan
They are one of the sweetest couples. You would never know that Jonathan just finished an IronMan (Marathon+ 100 mile bike + 2.5 mile swim. He is so humble even though you have to be super human to do this kind of Race. Kathryn is studying to be a Vet. If I ever have an animal, I would take it to her. She is that super caring person we all want in our doctors. Here are a few picks from our outing together.
They were so sweet. ( I said this before) They took me out for dinner at Grimaldi’s Pizza where they had their first date. It is hard to believe we ate these 2 huge pizzas!!!
Emmet and Aunt Holly
Holly found me through a google search. I love meeting random people who have some idea of what they want in a photo and seek me out to do it. I always like doing something different and collaborative. Holly wanted to instill in her godson..Emmet, a memory of their relationship now. The book he is reading is very popular among the 7 month olds..and she is proud to have introduced it to him; “Everything is Illuminated by Jonathan Safran Foer, ” He is very very advanced. The shirt says “Brooklyn” a very cool place to live and of course they can share eye glasses.
We hope his mommy is as pleased as we are. It was a surprise session. If you are reading this then you can get $50 off for you or anyone who wants to do a surprise session for someone. Just mention the code word “SURPRISE”
Grace, Chris and Nel
Chris is also a photographer and like most photographers I know, is rarely IN any photos, especially with family. This was his request. Everyone looking at the camera and smiling. 
Gracie has some great expressions in addition to her smile. This one…she is thinking…are you gonna swing me or what?

No one is home…where are they. I keep knocking and no-one answers. Every door I knock on no-one answers. What is going on?
Ok..I am thirsty now and I prefer to drink from a straw. Oh and can I play with the ice too. After this I need my bottle and a nap but I did have a fun day today 🙂 Thanks.
Felix
Felix is about 7 months old. I photographed his newborn session with this leaf and so I wanted to do it again for his sitting up stage to see the size difference. Felix also has an amazing dog; Pistol. This dog is so affectionate, quiet and will look right at me when I call her. Oh and don’t you love her polka dot dress.. I hope to photograph Felix with Pistol again in a few years when Felix gets bigger then Pistol.
