Dennis, Jeri Ann and Chloe’s 1st Birthday
A love celebrating a first birthday… or any birthday for that matter. The areas around the studio have alot of graffiti and Dennis had a fun spot in mind. I have had a lot of rain this year and lucky every one was a great sport and let me photograph in a warehouse we stubbled upon while trying to get out of the rain. Those are my favorite images!
Parker
When Parker was born she was lucky enough to have a relative who knows how to knit. I adore this lovely little outfit she is wearing. She has had 2 little dogs that adore her.
Baby Sarah
Yoshie’s parents were in from Japan for Sarah’s special day. She was 100 days old which is a very special moment in the life of a Japanese baby or any baby for that matter.. Yoshie wanted to have photos of the baby with her parents to celebrate..100 days.. This was also a special day as it was the fist time her father held Sarah and I got to photograph it. It was one of those times that I feel especially grateful to be a family photographer as I get to be around people during especially meaningful moments.
Ethan’s mohawk
It’s great to do a photography session when the family gets involved. Lesa and Rich wanted to give Ethan a mohawk..(Ethan is 7 months) That is the kind of family I like working with!!! Also…bring on the hats…I love hats..I think in each of these…Ethan has a “check me out” look !!! love it
Liam smiling
Corey had her work set out for her at this session. We wanted a lot of looks for Liam and well…he wanted to more around alot. I think Corey lost 5 pounds chasing him around..but it was worth it 🙂
Nicholas
I photographed Chai and David’s wedding. Welcome Nicolas!
Maja is standing
It is amazing when the fist year rolls around and it is the 3rd or 4th session with the same child in a year. I know it is obvious but they really change. I love seeing it happen. Mommy changes too 🙂
Sofia
I just adore Mary. I shot Mary and Vasili’s wedding when Mary was 6 months pregnant. Then they move into a new house and then have Sofia just a few weeks (or days ?) later. Huge life events for all of them. Mary thinks it all is wonderful and it is. She is full of loving energy. You should all have a Mary in your life. She even said giving birth was fabulous..(hardly any pain..). Have you ever heard that before?
