Jillian and Jake wanted a session before leaving the city. Jillian describes herself as a Rock and Roll kind of girl. Black leather jacket was perfect and also wanted to see her in a contrasting look of silk around her skull tattoos. I love the contrast.
As I have said before..I love it when I photograph the wedding of a couple and they come back to see me when they start a family. Janis and Andy came for a maternity session. Janis always dresses nicely and that doesn’t stop while pregnant. She can still wear high heels and look and feel great even a couple weeks before giving birth.
I had the huge pleasure of meeting Lisa and Sam through another client of mine. They wanted some casual shots outside. Lisa remembers asking her mom to see photos of her when she was pregnant with Lisa. Her mom didn’t have any and so Lisa decided when she got pregnant that she would be sure to have photos taken of her not only to have them for herself but also to have them to show her child.
Dalila is a beauty and she belly dances too. I love her sense of style in jewelry and how elegant she looked in fabrics. I can’t wait to photograph the baby who just arrived last week.
Sharon imports art from around the world. She brought some great items with her to the shoot. The 3 big colored feathers items are actually hats. I also love the mask she brought as well.
When Natalie came for her maternity consultation she had a great coat that I thought would look super during our session. I love these shots of her done right outside the studio.
If it is not obvious..Heather was having twins.
Bronwen is a friend of a wedding client who also had her maternity photos done. I love workings with friends of clients. We had a great time. She brought a stunning printed silk fabric that makes her look like she is in some tropical place. She also brought her adorable dogs…one is featured here.
Number 2 is on the way…but Bryce is enjoying the time with Donna’s belly.
It was cold out!! but Bryce and Stewart are so cute together..
