This weekend I photographed an amazing and diverse group of outdoor enthusiasts; part of OUTDOOR NATION who are trying to help people have more access and more fun in the outdoors. Whether it fixing up trials or educating about the benefits of being more connected to nature, this active bunch led by Chris Fanning had lots to say and do over the weekend. Besides meeting and deciding on where best to spend grant money, they pitched their tents in Central Park and Floyd Bennet Park. It was fun time for all, some of them first time ever campers. Some notable speakers were Aria Finger from DoSomething.org
